“I don’t think any day is worth living without thinking about what you’re going to eat next at all times.”
― Nora Ephron

I am Italian, Irish, French and Chickasaw Indian. I grew up in Chicago and was influenced by my Italian grandmother who was a hard working seamstress at Marshall Field’s in downtown Chicago and an incredible cook. I learned to appreciate good food from her.  As a young woman, I moved to Seattle and married a chef who could cook anything. I learned a few tricks from him. Now I live in Arizona and am remarried. We have two terriers who run the house. They wake me up at 4:30 am for their baked yams.

Enjoy the recipes. Life is too short for bad food.
